PAPER TOWER CHALLENGE

Start by explaining to the students that they will be working in teams to build the tallest tower possible using only sheets of paper and tape.Divide the students into small teams of 3–5 members. Make sure to create diverse teams with a mix of abilities and personalities.

Provide each team with a set number of sheets of paper and a roll of tape. Instruct them to plan and design their tower on a piece of scratch paper. They can decide on the height, shape, and any additional features of their tower. Encourage creativity!

Let the teams start building their towers. They can cut, fold, and tape the paper to create the structure they've planned and also decorate.

Then let them present their towers. You can recognize and celebrate the tallest tower, the most creative design, or the team that demonstrated the best teamwork.
